Tight tussle in third round
Bernard Tomic has lost a tight match to German No.14 seed Dominik Schulz in the third round of the French Open Junior Championships at Roland Garros overnight.
After recording two solid wins in the early rounds of the junior event, Tomic went down in a tight affair 7-6(2) 7-6(6).
Last week, the 16 year old made his French Open main draw debut, going down to Germany’s Phillip Kohlschreiber in straight sets.
