One step closer to main draw

Bernard Tomic is one win away from reaching the Wimbledon main draw after winning his second round match in qualifying overnight.
16 year old Tomic, who received a wildcard into qualifying, scored a convincing 6-3 6-3 victory over 29th seed Juan Pablo Brzezicki of Argentina.
The Queenslander faces a tough match-up against world No.172 Edouard Roger-Vasselin in the third round of qualifying with the winner securing a place in the main draw.
If successful against Roger-Vasselin, it would continue a stellar year for the teenager after he won his first round match during his main draw debut at the Australian Open, won his first Challenger title and boosted his world ranking to No.352.
