Malisse knocks out Tomic

Australian teenager Bernard Tomic has been knocked out in the second round at Queen’s, going down 6-2 3-6 6-2 to Belgium’s Xavier Malisse.
The 17-year-old wildcard entrant suffered a shoulder complaint early in the match, dropping the first set 6-2.
He regained control in the second to level the match at one set apiece, before world No.74 Malisse turned up the pressure to finish off the young Australian 6-2 in the decider.
Tomic, who is ranked 254th in the world, was the only remaining Australian in the singles draw of the London grass court tournament.
