First round win in qualifying
Bernard Tomic has won his opening round match at the Wimbledon Qualifying event to move a step closer to reaching the main draw.
The teenager beat German Sebastian Rieschick in three sets 6-4 5-7 6-4 to progress to the second round.
Tomic will play world No.164 Robert Farah from Colombia for a place in the final round.
Players must win three matches in qualifying to earn a place in the main draw at next week’s grand slam.
Compatriots Chris Guccione, Marinko Matosevic, Greg Jones and Matthew Ebden will join Tomic in the second round.
