Tomic beaten in Shanghai
Bernard Tomic has been ousted by Alexandr Dolgopolov in the third round of the Shanghai Masters.
After impressive wins over Mardy Fish and Kevin Anderson, Tomic started well against the Ukrainian, taking the first set 7-5.
But from there it was one-way traffic as the No.12 seed gained the ascendancy to take next two sets 6-1 6-0 and close out the match.
The result is still likely to see Tomic rise above his current ranking of No.49 next week.
