Troicki tames Tomic
Serbia’s Viktor Troicki put an early end to the involvement of Australian men at the Indian Wells Masters, seeing off Bernard Tomic.
Tomic, a wildcard entry, went down 6-4 6-4 in his second round clash with the world No.18 on Sunday.
The 18-year-old Queenslander was the only one of the five Australian men in the main draw to win his opening round match, but he was edged out by big-serving Troicki, who blasted 10 aces.
