Dolgopolov downs Tomic
Ukrainian Alexandr Dolgopolov has downed Bernard Tomic in three sets in their second round encounter at the ATP Monte-Carlo Masters.
The No.16 seed traded blows with the young Aussie for one hour and 40 minutes before prevailing 6-2 5-7 6-1.
It was a reverse of their result at January’s Australian Open where Tomic triumphed in a five set thriller.
Tomic’s next event will be the Barcelona Open in Spain.
