Bernard out of Nice

Australia’s Bernard Tomic has been knocked out in the first round of the Nice Cote d’Azur, going down 4-6 6-3 6-4 to Slovakia’s Martin Klizan.

Tomic looked good in the first set, but the Slovakian bounced back to take control of the match.

The Australian’s next event will be the French Open, beginning 25 May.

    I really hoping that you can return to winning form real soon Bernard,so you can remain inside the top 100.I followed your match against Klizan the other night,and I felt that for the majority of the match that you were in with a chance only to fall short in the 3rd set.Keep working hard,and the wins will come.It must be really hard,to come back from injury,and hope you don’t re injure yourself in the future
